The New York Yankees’ struggles continued on Saturday as the Minnesota Twins powered their way to an 11-4 win at Yankee Stadium behind a six-home-run attack.

Minnesota wasted no time taking control of the game. Kody Clemens delivered the early blow with a three-run homer in the first inning, putting the Yankees in a hole before their offense had a chance to respond.
The Twins kept swinging in the second inning, when Luke Keaschall and Alex Jackson launched back-to-back home runs. By the time the early damage was done, Yankees rookie starter Brendan Beck was already under heavy pressure in a rough outing.

Beck, who was called on because of New York’s pitching issues, allowed five runs before leaving the game in the fourth inning. Three of the Twins’ six home runs came against him, turning the afternoon into a difficult assignment from the start.
The Yankees showed brief signs of life at the plate. Jasson Domínguez hit a solo home run, Max Schuemann added a two-run shot, and Cody Bellinger drove in a run with a double. But New York could not turn those moments into a real comeback.

One of the Yankees’ biggest missed chances came with runners on base, as the team again struggled to deliver in key situations. New York finished poorly with runners in scoring position, continuing a frustrating offensive trend during its recent slide.
Minnesota pulled away late when Josh Bell added more damage, including home run power that helped turn the game into a blowout. Reliever Camilo Doval also had a difficult eighth inning, allowing the Twins to stretch the lead and remove nearly all suspense.
The loss was another setback for a Yankees team that had only just ended a seven-game losing streak one night earlier. Instead of building momentum, New York fell back into the same problems: early pitching trouble, inconsistent offense, and missed chances when the game was still within reach.

For the Twins, the win was a statement performance powered by their lineup’s depth. Six home runs at Yankee Stadium gave Minnesota one of its loudest offensive games of the season and handed the Yankees another painful result in front of the home crowd.
New York will need a quick response as pressure continues to grow around a team that has lost eight of its last nine games and is searching for answers before the season slips further away.
