David Faustino has shared a heartfelt update on his longtime friend and former Married… With Children co-star Christina Applegate as she continues her battle with multiple sclerosis.
Faustino, who played Bud Bundy alongside Applegate’s Kelly Bundy on the hit sitcom, said it has been difficult to watch her deal with such a serious health condition. He explained that although he cannot fully understand what she is going through, he admires her strength and courage.
According to Faustino, Applegate’s MS battle has been “very hard” for her, but she has not lost the sharp humor that fans and friends have always loved. He said she still has the same dry, sarcastic personality she has had since they first met.
Faustino also revealed that he continues to support Applegate through regular visits, text messages, phone calls, and conversations. He said their friendship includes both serious talks and moments of laughter, which help keep their bond strong during a difficult time.
Applegate, who was diagnosed with MS in 2021, has been open about the physical and emotional challenges of the disease. She has spoken publicly about pain, mobility struggles, hospital visits, and the impact her health has had on her daily life.
Despite the challenges, Faustino said Applegate remains strong and continues to face her condition with honesty, humor, and resilience.
